My name is Annika and I am the lead dental Hygienist for Seattle Dental Care. I’ve been a hygienist for about 11 years and have been involved in the dental field for 17 years. I started out as a dental assistant and worked in several dental clinics while going to school. I received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northeastern University and went to Summa Cum Laude Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and that is where I got my certificate in Advanced Dental Hygiene. My job is to work with the doctor in helping our clients attain and maintain optimal oral health. One of my goals here is to continue learning from Dr. Stickney’s vast experience and knowledge. I also have great sympathy and empathy for those with dental fears, and I would like all of our patients to look forward to their appointments here. Outside of work I have many hobbies. I worked as a goldsmith’s apprentice for 2 years and am working on getting a home studio to continue working on creating jewelry with lost wax casting. I’m also looking forward to summer to explore the mountains by hiking. I’m excited about planting a vegetable and herb garden; we grew only rocks and sagebrush in Tahoe, where I’m from. And I’m also restoring the first bicycle my mother bought when she came to the US in 1968.
Meet Our New Hygienist!
My name is Phoebe and I am the Patient Coordinator for Dr. Stickney and Dr. Cziao. I have been in the dental field for almost 4 years. I started as a dental assistant where I found my passion in dentistry. I love working with patients, building strong personal relationships, and helping them feel right at home. I will be assisting you with scheduling, and answering any questions you may have for the office or treatment to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in going forward with your next steps in treatment. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
Hi! My name is Taryn, I am the dental assistant for Dr. Stickney and Dr. Cziao. I will be helping the doctor during your appointment and will assist with taking x-rays, impressions, and chairside assisting during treatments in general. I love what I do and enjoy working with patients on a day-to-day basis. I have lived in Seattle for a little over three years, and am originally from Whidbey Island. Much like everyone else in Washington, I love getting outside when the weather permits. I’m all about finding new local places to eat and exploring what the city has to offer. I’m a lover of all animals and have one of my own at home. I enjoy reading and listening to music and can enjoy art forms of all sorts. Can’t wait to meet you and get to know you as well!
