Alyce- Patient Care Coordinator

Hi My name is Alyce.  I am so happy to help our patients and be the person to introduce them to our office.  As the patient care coordinator I am able use my 15+ years in customer service to provide our patients with the best possible experience.  My customer service background has been well developed through the years by my experience working at Seattle City Light in energy conservation in addition to jewelry sales.  In an administrative role I help our patients with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, filing insurance claims, and am continuing to look for ways to enhance your visit to our office.  My favorite part of working at Dr. Stickney’s is being able to build lasting relationships with our wonderful patients. Our unique approach to dentistry allows us to really get to know our patients and their families.  I also enjoy my time with friends and family, hiking our local mountains and traveling.  I am planning my next trip to Europe.  I look forward to meeting you.

Ivette – Receptionist/Dental Assistant

My name is Ivette I work with Dr. Stickney’s team enjoying multiple roles in the office.  Primarily I will help you with scheduling your appointments and answering your emails but you will also find me assisting Dr. Stickney during dental procedures.  I graduated from Lake Washington Dental School in 2013 as a registered dental assistant.  I gained experience in general dentistry and sleep apnea.  Being Bi-lingual I also have a background as an office manager for an interpreting agency where I was able to utilize my skills in Spanish. As I am sure you will soon agree, our working environment at Dr. Stickney’s office is special.  We love working together and are a great support team to each other.  It is also wonderful to work with Dr. Stickney who truly cares for his patients.  It is a privilege to be a part of changing people’s lives by improving our patient’s health and smiles.  When I am not talking dental I am out traveling, having a full share in volunteer work and enjoying a good book to read.

Annika – Hygienist

My name is Annika and I am Dr. Stickney’s Hygienist in the office. I’ve been a hygienist for about 11 years and have been involved in the dental field for 17 years. I started out as a dental assistant and worked in several dental clinics while going to school. I received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northeastern University and went to Summa Cum Laude Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and that is where I got my certificate in Advanced Dental Hygiene. My job is to work with the doctor in helping our clients attain and maintain optimal oral health. One of my goals here is to continue learning from Dr. Stickney’s vast experience and knowledge. I also have great sympathy and empathy for those with dental fears, and I would like all of our patients to look forward to their appointments here. Outside of work I have many hobbies. I worked as a goldsmith’s apprentice for 2 years and am working on getting a home studio to continue working on creating jewelry with lost wax casting. I’m also looking forward to summer to explore the mountains by hiking. I’m excited about planting a vegetable and herb garden; we grew only rocks and sagebrush in Tahoe, where I’m from. And I’m also restoring the first bicycle my mother bought when she came to the US in 1968.

Jessica – Dental Assistant

My name is Jessica. I am a registered dental assistant in the state of Washington. I have been in the dental field for over 19 years with clinical experience as well as administrative experience. Over this time I have acquired a well-rounded knowledge in most aspects of the dental office and am eager to continue to learn new things. I started working with Dr. Stickney in 2015 and love his approach to our patient’s well-being.  You may see me up front on the computer or in the back working with our patients.  While assisting Dr. Stickney during our procedures I strive to make each visit comfortable. I enjoy getting to know our patients, educating and helping them to improve their overall health through exceptional dentistry. It is always a great feeling to be able to share in increasing someone’s confidence in their smile. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest I love exploring the varied things that I can do in our area with my husband, our family and friends.
